Customer’s right to cancel
The customer may cancel this Layby Sale Agreement at any time before taking possession of the goods by advising the seller verbally or in writing, using the contact details provided in this Agreement.
Cost of cancellation
If the customer:
  • Does not pay the layby sale in full by the agreed completion date, or
  • Cancels the layby sale before the layby is completed, The seller may deduct a cancellation charge (calculated as the sum of the loss (not exceeding 15%) in value of the goods and reasonable costs incurred under the Agreement) from the total amount paid.
The customer is required to:
  1. Make regular *weekly/fortnightly/monthly (*delete two) payments.
  2. Bring copy of the layby payment record sheet (attached schedule) every time a payment is made.

  3. This Layby Sales Agreement will be administered in compliance with Zimbabwe legislation.
    The parties agree that all other provisions of the relevant legislation will apply.
